Office Location: 14760 Trinity Blvd, Fort Worth, TX 76155 GENERAL PURPOSE Perform general accounting duties following established procedures and guidelines. Complete assigned daily ledger entries and other financial transactions in accordance with accounting principles. Collect and compile financial information and assist in preparing accurate and timely financial reports and accounting statements for management. Assist business unit or location in meeting monthly closing deadlines. Maintain and report accurate and timely financial information, ensuring appropriate controls and compliance processes are followed. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * Undergraduate degree in accounting or related curriculum (or equivalent combination of experience and education) * Up to 2 years of accounting, finance, or related experience * Experience with Microsoft Office or similar software * Experience with accounting software preferred * Certification and/or License - may be required during course of employment KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES * Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), balance sheet and income statement methods, internal controls, and other areas related to financial reporting * Knowledge of and skill with Microsoft Office Suite and company computer systems, specifically accounting software * Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing * Able to complete arithmetic, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division * Able to conduct research into issues or situations * Able to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports * Able to organize time, energy, and resources effectively to achieve goals (i.e., organizational skills) * Able to work with accuracy and detail oriented * Able to maintain confidentiality of information * Must be able to read, write and speak English An Equal Opportunity Employer including Disabled/Veterans | |
