Supermicro, a global leader in high performance, high efficiency Server and Storage technology and green computing, is looking for a Director, Server Production to join its established and growing production team. The ideal candidate should bring deep manufacturing industry knowledge, thought leadership and passion to help reach a broader target customer base for our growing manufacturing capacity and global footprint

• Developingandimplementingproductionobjectivesandpolicies.
• Utilizing key performance metrics (KPIs) to monitor efficiency and report findings to executive leadership.
• Implementingstrategiesforcostreduction,qualityassurance,andprocessimprovement.
• Managingandcoordinatingproductionactivitiestoensureefficientcompletionofprojects.
• Ensuringcompliancewithsafetyregulations,environmentallaws,andotherapplicableguidelines.
• Liaisingwithotherdepartments,suppliers,andotherstakeholderstoensuresuccessfulcompletionofprojects.
• Monitoringandanalyzingindustrytrendstoidentifyareasofimprovement
• Hiring and evaluating staff, as well as fostering a productive, inclusive work environment.

• Minimum of 15 years' experience in server total solution, manufacturing operation and other related field.
• Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
• Proven experience in a senior management role, typically in operations and production, with a strong background in business administration.
• Deep knowledge of production/operation management
• Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage change, and make high-stakes decisions. Experience in reporting on key production metrics
• Outstanding communication and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with departments.
• Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
• Proficient in industry-specific technology and knowledge.
• Proficient in ERP software will be plus

Please note that this position requires regular in-office attendance. The successful candidate is expected to be present in the office during standard working hours as determined by the company. In-office collaboration and participation in team meetings, training sessions, and other on-site activities are essential aspects of this role. Candidates should consider the commuting distance and be prepared to fulfill their responsibilities in the designated office location.

$170,000 - $210,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
