Waste Connections is hiring a District Coordinator for our South Austin location (near the airport). This role will support the overall needs of the District, including: Preparing and managing reports Coordinating district events and outings Assisting with planning, scheduling, and daytoday operational support We're looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and ready to help keep our district running smoothly. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Acting as a liaison between managers, drivers, and customers Maintaining DOT files Providing administrative support Using various systems to document/provide information Assist in maintaining compliance Various filing and data entry Helping with route optimizations. Handling incident claims along with keeping OSHA records Other duties as assigned MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must be detailed oriented and well organized. Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English. 1 year of administrative/data entry preferred. High School Diploma or GED required.
