About you

The Manager, Business Development & Content Strategy supports revenue-generating initiatives for Colliers by delivering high-quality, client-facing presentations, pursuits, and business review materials. This role partners closely with executive stakeholders, sales leads, and producers to shape strategy and translate it into compelling, custom and branded deliverables, demonstrating a strong understanding of Colliers' capabilities, industry trends, and best practices.

The Manager coordinates resources, manages timelines, and ensures consistent quality across assigned pursuits and presentations. Applying sound judgment and attention to detail, this role prioritizes work, aligns contributors, and executes efficiently against deadlines. The position collaborates across marketing, design, research, and other departments as needed to produce polished, competitive materials that advance business development objectives. The ideal candidate will have marketing and business development experience in commercial real estate and tenant representation.

In this role, you will...

  • Partners with executives and key stakeholders to ask the right questions, understand objectives, and develop tailored content for proposals and presentations.

  • Collaborates with internal teams to understand service offerings and subject-matter expertise, translating complex capabilities into clear, client-relevant messaging. Leverages a strong understanding of client objectives and Colliers' capabilities to support competitive, well-positioned pursuits.

  • Develops and writes pursuit content for proposals and presentations that articulate Colliers' tools, services, platforms, and experts for use across multiple client-facing scenarios.

  • Cultivates a strong understanding of the Colliers brand story to ensure consistent, effective representation across all external-facing materials.

  • Contributes to pursuit strategy and execution by project managing all phases of assigned pursuits, ensuring timely delivery and consistent quality.

  • Researches and resolves complex issues related to RFP responses, maintaining accurate and up-to-date commonly requested information.

  • Project manages select national initiatives as needed in support of business development priorities.

  • Supports Business Development operations by tracking pursuits, assisting with internal communications, and reporting success metrics.

  • Maintains and updates content within the national pursuit platform to support efficiency and consistency across markets.

  • Assists in the development and delivery of training materials related to business development platforms, tools, and resources.

  • Supports writing and research for special assignments and ad hoc initiatives as needed

What success looks like

  • Bachelor's degree in related field required or 8 to 10 years' experience in a marketing role - prior experience in the commercial real estate industry required.

  • Experience with internet platforms such as SharePoint, Smartsheet, Marketing Cloud preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

  • Some fluency in, or ability to quickly learn, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Express, Acrobat).

  • Capacity to write and generate content with strong editing and proofreading skills with an emphasis on business writing and an ability to articulate client value.

  • Self-starter and team player with a strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to shift priorities and deliver projects on a timely basis, well organized, excellent time management skills and ability to interface with top level executives.

  • A strong work ethic, the strength to thrive in a dynamic and demanding work environment, and an ability to meet critical deadlines.

Benefits

Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan, which includes an employer match. Employees will also receive 10 days of sick leave and a minimum of 15-days vacation annually. Certain senior-level roles are eligible for unlimited time off. Employees will also enjoy 10 paid holidays plus two personal flex days throughout the calendar year.Twelve weeks (for birth parents) and 4 weeks (for non-birth parents, including adoptive/foster parents) of paid parental leave will also be available for use after successful completion of 90 days of employment.Individuals may be eligible for different or additional benefits under applicable state law.

Bonus
This position is eligible for an annual bonus, based on company and individual performance.

For Salary Roles

Approximate Salary Range for Role: $128,759 to $145,000

Area/Location Specific: WFH USA

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
