The Cash Applications Agent is responsible for receiving and processing ACH, wires, credit cards and checks for deposits, verify amounts and check accuracy of deposits slips. Assist the Finance Team with questions related to transfers, refunds and GL requests.

Examine checks for endorsements and to verify other information such as dates, bank names, identification of the persons receiving payments and the legality of the documents
• Resolve problems or discrepancies concerning customer's accounts
• Apply daily cash, ACH, wire, credit card and check payments
• Verify checks, process credit card requests, apply offsets, deposit checks and file checks and remittances
• Assist the Finance team with any questions for transfers, refunds and GL requests
• Process intercompany checks (weekly)
• Lockbox receipt processing
• Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as business demands deem necessary
• The wage range for this position is $21.90-$30.90 and may vary based on geography as well as relative knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience

• High School Degree or equivalent
• Previous experience with AS400 and CargoWise a plus!
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to develop new ideas and innovative solutions
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment
• Efficient time management/organization skills
• Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously in a professional and concise manner
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines

In addition to your base compensation, you may be eligible for a bonus based on achievement of business and/or individual performance metrics (dependent on position).
