Project Closeout Specialist (Contract) *Location:* Houston, TX
*Duration:* 52-week contract (potential extension) *Start Date:* May 10, 2026 *Schedule:* Full-time, On-site Position Overview The Project Closeout Specialist is responsible for reviewing financing submissions and ensuring the accuracy and validity of all data while upholding funding obligations. This role requires developing a strong understanding of residential solar financing processes and applying that knowledge to evaluate project submissions. The specialist will become well-versed in both financing and operations workflows. This position is well-suited for a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and experience working within structured review and approval processes. Key Responsibilities * Analyze, process, and review financing submissions to ensure accuracy and compliance * Review and validate financial, loan, and contract-related documentation * Identify discrepancies, errors, or missing information in project submissions * Ensure quality standards and service-level expectations are consistently met * Proactively escalate issues or anomalies that may impact approvals or timelines * Support operations processing and project closeout activities * Work within established workflows, documentation standards, and compliance requirements Required Qualifications * High School Diploma or equivalent * Experience as a Project Analyst, Operations Analyst, or Financial Operations Analyst * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy * Experience reviewing documentation for correctness and compliance * Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Preferred Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field * Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification * Experience with document control systems * Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite * Experience in project closeout, project controls, or budget reconciliation * Experience in financial, loan, or contract documentation review Work Environment * On-site only * Houston, TX Why This Opportunity? * Long-term contract with potential extension * Hands-on exposure to residential solar financing operations * Opportunity to build expertise in financing and operations workflows * Work in a structured, process-driven environment with meaningful project impact *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract position based out of Houston, TX. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00/hr.
