OVERVIEW This position will support Interventional Radiology (IR) and the Cardiac Cath Lab (CVI) at the Javon Bea Hospital campus. In IR, the Technologist will support minimally invasive, image-guided procedures; in the Cardiac Cath Lab, the technologist will support cardiac procedures. They will be skilled in preparing equipment, maintaining a sterile field, assisting physicians, and monitoring patients and will work efficiently in fast-paced environments with a strong focus on safety and quality care. Sign-on Bonus Available Schedule: 36 hours per week Shift: Variable Day Shift Hours Starting at 7:00A; 1 - 2 weeknight call shifts per schedule period and 1 weekend of on-call per month Location: Javon Bea Hospital - Rockford, IL ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Graduate of an accredited radiography program or equivalent training/education program for required certification/licensure Three years' experience in Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology required CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE ARRT(R) or EMT-P Specialty certification in one of the following: ARRT(VI), ARRT(CI), CCI-RCIS, CCI-RCES, or HRS CCDS or 5-10 years' experience in lieu of specialty certification BLS required ACLS required at hire or within six months of hire PALS required at hire or within one year of hire ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Passing the Driver's License Check and/or Credit Check (for those positions requiring). Passing the WI Caregiver Background Check and/or IL Health Care Workers Background Check. Must be able to follow written/oral instructions. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES Must be able to take call as needed. WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and risk of radiation. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Occupational Exposure: Category A - All partners in the specified job classification have occupational exposure.
