The general pay scale for this position at MOH is $101,799.68 - $156,614.89 per year. The actual hiring rate is dependent on many factors, including but not limited to prior work experience, education, job/position responsibilities, location, work performance, etc.

Position will work in conjunction with, and by the direction of, the Director of Nursing Services, if applicable, to provide nursing support for operations to existing practice locations and newly acquired practices by consulting and advising clinicians on best-practices, implementing of/providing education and training programs, and collaborating on interdisciplinary projects. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.


Responsibilities

Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure clinical operations and practices are consistent with organizational objectives.

  • Collaborate with practice management to provide support on operational projects such as site quality initiatives, practice assessments, regulatory compliance programs, and other special projects as assigned.

  • Facilitate the implementation and utilization of outcomes data and evidence-based practices.

  • Implement standardized best practices across the organization.

  • Ensure practice standards of care align with community standards and incorporate clinical evidence into existing and newly developed standards.

Staff Development:

  • Assess staffing levels, patient flow, and current practices in the clinical setting.

  • Assist with the development of company-wide clinical competency testing and skills validation programs.

  • Demonstrate working knowledge of applicable labor laws and coordinate employee staffing, including vacations, sick leave, and overtime.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):

Education/Training:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or other clinical field required.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Advanced degree in nursing, healthcare, or business (MSN, MBA, MHA) preferred.

  • Current state licensure for applicable clinical background.

  • Current CPR certification required.

Business Experience:

  • Minimum five years of clinical experience in a healthcare practice or clinic setting.

  • Minimum one year of leadership experience.

Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

  • Certification in a clinical specialty preferred.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skil

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Environment:

  • Traditional office environment.

  • Frequent travel by automobile within a multi-site service area.

Physical Requirements:

  • Significant time performing computer-based work.

  • May require full range of body motion, manual dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.

  • Requires standing and walking for extended periods; occasional lifting up to 40 lbs.

  • Vision and hearing must be correctable to normal range.
