High School Intern - Austin, TX

TDIndustries has exciting Internship opportunities available for students interested in partnering with an
innovative and growing organization. The Skilled Trades High School Internship is a paid work experience
program designed to provide individuals with exposure to roles and work in the construction and facilities
service industries. Interns will gain experience through a combination of practical work experience,
mentorship,and training.

• Collaborate with a dedicated mentor to accomplish daily tasks within the construction, manufacturing, and facility services sector.
• Gain hands-on experience in safely and effectively using hand and power tools under the close guidance of a skilled journeyman/mentor.
• Conducts assigned daily job requirements with the utmost safety, quality, and productivity in mind.
• Gain an understanding of construction, manufacturing, and/or facilities service roles.
• Performs other duties as required.

• Ideal for high school juniors or seniors looking to gain valuable experience.
• Course work in construction, architecture, ag mechanics, etc. preferred.
• Enthusiasm for exploring roles in plumbing, electrical work, welding, HVAC, sheet metal, and more is welcomed.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork skills and reliability in meeting deadlines.
• Must display a good attitude with desire to learn and follow directions.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Exhibit safety consciousness at all times.
