Accounting Specialist Franklin Precision Castings is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to support daily accounting operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for a wide range of accounting and administrative functions including daily bank reporting, accounts payable/receivable processing, invoice management, vendor communications, and payroll support. You will also assist with month-end close activities such as reconciliations, journal entries, accrual cleanup, and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities Include: Daily processing of deposits, sales invoices, vendor invoices, and bank transactions Accounts payable/receivable support including invoice matching, payment preparation, and customer/vendor follow-up Payroll-related data entry, deductions tracking, and PTO corrections Vendor management, purchase order creation, requisitions, and supply coordination Monthly reconciliations (bank, credit card, vendor statements, GL entries, scrap reporting) Maintaining accurate documentation, compliance records, and filing systems Supporting HR with employee documentation uploads and onboarding records Assisting with inventory tracking, purchasing support, and cost monitoring Handling incoming calls, visitors, mail, and general office support tasks What We're Looking For: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry Ability to manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing environment Strong communication skills with vendors, customers, and internal teams Experience with accounting systems (Sage, Synchro, Paycor preferred) Problem-solving skills for invoice, PO, and reconciliation issues If you are organized, dependable, and enjoy a hands-on accounting role with variety and responsibility, we encourage you to apply.
