Working under the general supervision of the Configuration Supervisor or Lead Material Handler, the Technical Material Handler efficiently and accurately locates all inbound products coming through the Configuration lab. The Technical Material Handler moves all product in the Configuration lab, transfers stock, audits stock and assists Technicians on setup or tear-down of workbenches. Communicates with Inventory Control to resolve inventory issues. Where applicable, this position assures departmental processes are performed in compliance with applicable Sarbanes-Oxley controls. Records the correct quantity being put away for inventory purposes. Moves stock from one specified location to another within the lab or to a work cell. Works with inventory control for audits on unit discrepancies. Assists Technicians with setup or teardown of work bench areas: boxing or unboxing product. Performs all other duties or special projects as assigned. Attendance Employees are required to be present at the approved work location in order to perform the functions of this position. Demonstrates initiative and self-motivation to take on additional tasks. Good safety performance.
