Position Summary

The Senior Treasury Analyst reports to the Treasury Manager and supports the organization's enterprise treasury operations, including cash management, liquidity monitoring, banking administration, and treasury analytics. This role is responsible for managing daily cash positioning, supporting short- and long-term cash flow forecasting, and maintaining treasury systems and banking platforms to ensure efficient liquidity management across the organization.
The Senior Treasury Analyst plays an important role in maintaining strong internal controls and supporting the financial stewardship expected within a complex healthcare environment. The position partners closely with finance, revenue cycle, accounts payable, and operational leaders across the organization to support effective cash planning and operational liquidity. The role also interfaces with external banking partners, auditors, consultants, and other financial service providers.
In addition, the Senior Treasury Analyst contributes to treasury process improvement initiatives, treasury technology optimization, and the development of reporting and analytics that support executive decision-making and organizational financial strategy.

Knowledge and Skills
  • Strong knowledge of cash management, liquidity management, and treasury operations.
  • Understanding of banking systems, payment processes, and treasury controls.
  • Experience working with Treasury Management Systems (TMS).
  • Experience with enterprise financial systems such as Workday or similar ERP platforms.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools preferred.
  • Knowledge of cash management instruments, banking portals, and treasury operational workflows.
  • Understanding of financial statements and corporate finance principles.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with finance leadership and operational stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and complex organizational environment.
  • Sound judgment, strong decision-making skills, and the ability to interpret financial information to support operational and strategic decisions.
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree Required with an area of study of Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in treasury, corporate finance, banking, or healthcare finance, with an emphasis on cash management and banking operations.

The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.

Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
