  • Collect, move, and properly dispose of production waste including filters, chips, and recycling materials in strict compliance with plant processes and environmental standards.
  • Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, floor scrubbers, and industrial vacuum equipment to transport materials, clean work areas, and support facility operations.
  • Execute light building maintenance tasks including carpentry, painting, plumbing, and general repairs as needed to maintain facility infrastructure.
  • Assist the Facility Manager with the execution of team goals and objectives, providing support for parts and maintenance inventory management for Facilities, Maintenance, and Production Departments.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following workplace organization standards (such as 5S), utilizing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when necessary, and adhering to all facility safety procedures.
  • Provide general cleaning support and facility-specific assistance as requested by the Facility Manager to ensure facilities are consistently maintained in optimal condition.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience operating forklifts and other mobile equipment (pallet jacks, floor scrubbers, industrial vacuums) safely and effectively.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to comply with facility safety standards, waste management procedures, and workplace organization practices.
  • Superior customer service skills with the ability to maintain professionalism at all times, even under stressful or high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize work effectively, and work independently with minimal supervision while following direction from the Facility Manager.
  • Physical capability to utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and perform manual labor including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating industrial equipment throughout shifts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Valid forklift operator certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
  • Familiarity with workplace organization methodologies such as 5S, Lean Manufacturing principles, or similar industrial best practices.
  • Basic carpentry, painting, or plumbing skills with hands-on experience performing light building maintenance and repairs.
  • Knowledge of proper handling, storage, and disposal of industrial waste, hazardous materials, and recycling in compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment with exposure to industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining clean, organized, and safe work areas at all times.
