Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess at least one of the following:



  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Associate's degree plus one year of mental health direct service experience.
  • Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) plus one year of paid or volunteer mental health direct service experience.
  • High school diploma or GED plus two years of human services experience (including one year of mental health direct service).


Required: Active, valid driver's license.
Preferred: Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP).

Schedule: 8:00 AM-4:00 PM

Position Details


The Psychiatric Rehabilitation Worker supports individuals in their recovery journeys by facilitating skill development, providing onetoone guidance, and promoting engagement in meaningful activities across living, learning, working, and social life domains. This role combines direct service, group facilitation, documentation, and active participation in program planning and quality improvement efforts.


Key Responsibilities



  • Facilitate and colead psychiatric rehabilitation workshops, classes, and groups.
  • Provide onetoone skills teaching, guidance, and recoveryoriented support to members.
  • Support members in developing and working toward individualized recovery goals.
  • Maintain consumerdriven documentation, including goal plans and progress notes, using the electronic health records system.
  • Engage with members during scheduled activities at STAR and in the community.
  • Participate in planning and organizing the monthly psychiatric rehabilitation activity calendar.
  • Transport members to and from the center for scheduled activities and goalrelated meetings.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement and Quality Assurance activities as assigned.
