Job Overview

The Director, Process Improvement - Marketing Transformation leads the operational function responsible for designing, improving, and sustaining the processes that support how marketing work flows across the organization.

Reporting to the VP of Marketing Transformation, this role oversees a team responsible for evaluating existing workflows, designing new operational processes, and ensuring successful implementation and long-term adoption across marketing teams.

This leader manages three complementary areas of focus:

Process Improvement: Evaluating and optimizing existing marketing workflows to reduce friction and improve efficiency.

Process Creation and Ideation: Designing new processes that enable emerging capabilities, evolving tools, and new ways of working across marketing teams.

Process Implementation and Sustainment: Driving implementation, documentation, training, and ongoing support to ensure processes are consistently applied and sustained over time.

The Director serves as the operational engine that translates transformation priorities into practical workflows, ensuring that both current and future processes are structured, scalable, and supported across the marketing organization.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the Process Improvement team, responsible for analyzing current marketing workflows and identifying opportunities to simplify, streamline, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the Process Creation and Ideation team, developing new operational processes that support evolving marketing capabilities, tools, and organizational needs.
  • Manage the Process Implementation and Sustainment team, ensuring processes are successfully launched through documentation, enablement, training, and ongoing adoption support.
  • Establish clear process standards, frameworks, and governance that create consistency across marketing teams.
  • Partner closely with Marketing Operations, PMO, Creative, Brand, Media, Martech, and Analytics teams to ensure processes align with how work is executed across the organization.
  • Identify operational friction points and lead structured initiatives to improve cross-functional workflows and speed-to-market.
  • Ensure new processes are clearly documented, scalable, and sustainable, with defined ownership and continuous feedback loops.
  • Track adoption and effectiveness of key processes, identifying opportunities for refinement and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a trusted operational partner to marketing leaders, helping teams navigate and apply established processes effectively.
  • Lead and develop a team responsible for process design, improvement, and operational enablement.
  • Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
  • In addition to the essential duties mentioned above, other duties may be assigned.

Skills You Will Need

  • Strong experience in process improvement, operational excellence, or workflow design within complex organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and sustain operational processes across multiple teams.
  • Experience leading cross-functional operational initiatives that improve efficiency and collaboration.
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, continuous improvement, or operational excellence frameworks.
  • Strong facilitation and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex workflows into clear, actionable processes.
  • Ability to balance structured thinking with practical execution in a fast-moving environment.
  • Proven experience managing teams and developing talent.

Who You Are

  • A structured operator who enjoys bringing clarity to complex environments.
  • A practical problem solver who focuses on how work actually gets done, not just how it should work in theory.
  • A collaborative leader who partners effectively across teams to improve workflows and operational alignment.
  • Comfortable navigating organizational complexity while driving clear, actionable solutions.
  • A steady partner who helps teams adopt and sustain better ways of working.
  • Regularly required to sit, talk, hear; use hands/fingers to touch, handle, and feel. Occasionally required to move about the workplace and reach with hands and arms. Requires close vision.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on department and company needs.
