250 local media brands across the U.S. Our National Sales team works with top advertisers to connect their messages to engaged audiences in premium, brandsafe environments.
We're growing our
National Sales team and looking for a
National Account Executive who enjoys selling digital and traditional media solutions, solving client problems, and working in a fastmoving, collaborative environment.
What You'll Be Doing
This is a true clientfacing sales role where you'll own relationships, opportunities, and outcomes.
You'll:
- Sell digital advertising and marketing solutions to national brands and agencies, managing both new business and existing client relationships
- Partner with clients to understand their goals and recommend solutions that actually perform
- Build, manage, and grow a book of business - including renewals, upsells, and new opportunities
- Prospect consistently, including cold outreach, to keep your pipeline strong
- Collaborate with Client Solutions and Account Management teams to create strong proposals and thoughtful RFP responses
- Stay curious about digital marketing trends, performance media, and what's next
- Represent the USA TODAY Network at client meetings and industry events
What We're Looking For
You don't need to check every box, but this role tends to work well for people who have:
- Experience selling digital advertising or marketing solutions (typically 5+ years)
- Comfort working with brands and/or national agencies
- A strong understanding of the digital media landscape and how performance is measured
- Confidence selling the value of premium media - not just explaining products
- Strong prospecting skills and the willingness to pick up the phone
- The ability to communicate clearly with senior-level clients
- Good organization, followthrough, and time management
- Experience using Salesforce or another CRM
- A collaborative, teamfirst mindset
Bonus points if you've sold:
- Fullfunnel or performance media
- Content or custom programs
- Integrated or multiplatform campaigns

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $100,000 and $115,000 Base compensation is reflective of many factors, including, but not limited to, the market in which one lives/works, individual education level, skills, certifications and experience. Note: variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable.
