Job Title: Instructional Designer

Duration: 8 Months (Possibility of Extension)

Location: Remote - Any Time Zone - Standard business hours

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Instructional Designer to support a complex project. This role is an individual contributor function focused on collaborating with subject matter experts to design, develop, and implement high-quality instructional materials. The primary goal is to create engaging content that meets learning objectives and supports staff comprehension, compliance, and inspection readiness through corporate Learning Management Systems (LMS). The Instructional Designer will work closely with training content experts and other instructional design team members to deliver effective online learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate virtually with subject matter experts to create simplified instructional materials for online courses focused on Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Design and revise storyboards, simulations, and multimedia elements
  • Ensure instructional content aligns with learning objectives, design principles, and online learning best practices
  • Manage timelines and coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery
  • Engage with cross-functional teams, including project managers, through meetings and one-on-one discussions
  • Work effectively with a team of instructional designers on fast-moving projects with evolving needs



Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in instructional design, instructional technology, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 7 years of instructional design experience focused on interactive content
  • Proficiency with Articulate Rise & Storyline, Captivate, and Adobe Illustrator



Skills

  • Exceptional communication and strong project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a cross-functional environment
  • Experience developing training content
  • Mastery of Articulate Rise & Storyline, Captivate, and Adobe Illustrator
  • Preferred experience in biotech/pharmaceutical/GxP or other regulated industries



Top 3 Must-Have Skill Sets

  1. Bachelor's degree (preferred)
  2. 7 years of Instructional Designer experience
  3. Mastery of Articulate Rise & Storyline, Captivate, and Adobe Illustrator



Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to design, develop, and implement instructional materials
  • Create engaging content aligned with learning objectives
  • Support staff comprehension, compliance, and inspection readiness via LMS
  • Partner closely with training content experts and instructional design team members
