Join our Team as a Maintenance Technician in Sheboygan, WI!

Do you enjoy solving problems, working with your hands, and helping create communities people are proud to call home? We are looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician to support three of our properties located in Sheboygan, WI.

This role supports our affordable housing communities, Garton Toy Factory (72-units), Washington School Apartments (42-units), and Sheboygan Riverwalk Apartment Homes (60-units). If you take pride in solving problems, working with your hands, and delivering great service to residents, we'd love to hear from you!

What You'll Do:

  • Perform daily maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general building systems.

  • Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and on-call emergencies.

  • Prepare vacant apartments for new residents by completing unit turns and make-ready tasks.

  • Conduct daily property walks and inspections to maintain safety, curb appeal, and cleanliness.

  • Maintain common areas, exterior spaces, and pool areas.

  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors when needed.

  • Support seasonal property needs and ensure tools, supplies, and equipment are properly maintained.

What You'll Bring:

  • At least one year of property maintenance, building maintenance, or related trade experience.

  • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.

  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.

  • HVAC EPA Type II or Universal certification preferred.

  • Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and participate in an on-call rotation.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly pay between $21-$24/hour based on experience.
