Starkey Retail is seeking a dynamic, results-driven regional leader to oversee clinic performance, develop high-performing teams, and drive operational and financial success across a multi-site region. This role is responsible for translating company strategy into strong field execution, ensuring an exceptional patient experience, and maintaining compliance and operational excellence at every location. The ideal candidate brings deep multi-site leadership experience, strong business acumen, and the ability to coach Regional Managers while partnering cross-functionally to support growth, accountability, and continuous improvement.

JOB SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

The Regional Director provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for a multi-state retail region. This role is responsible for driving regional performance, ensuring operational excellence, and executing company initiatives to achieve revenue, patient experience, and productivity goals.

The Regional Director establishes clear expectations, mentors and develops Regional Clinic and Operations Managers, and ensures consistent implementation of company standards across all locations. This position leverages data-driven insights to identify opportunities, optimize staffing, strengthen operation processes, and execute growth strategies. The Regional Director partners closely with cross-functional teams - including HR, finance, marketing and other shared services to support clinic performance and enable the success of the team.

The successful Regional Director fosters a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and exceptional patient service while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This leader represents the brand, champions organizational values, and ensures that each clinic delivers a high-quality, patient-centric experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/RESULTS

Leadership & Team Development



  • Directly lead, coach, and develop Regional Managers to ensure strong operational execution and leadership effectiveness.
  • Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee talent pipeline development, succession planning, and performance management for all clinics within the region.


Operational Excellence



  • Ensure all clinics within the region consistently meet company standards for service, merchandising, cleanliness, and operational compliance.
  • Monitor operational KPIs, identify performance gaps, and implement corrective action plans to drive improvements.
  • Lead regional execution of new programs, policies, and initiatives.


Financial & Business Performance



  • Own regional sales performance, profitability, and budget management.
  • Analyze financial reports, staffing models, and market trends to guide decision-making and optimize results.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow revenue, improve margins, and control expenses.


Customer Experience & Brand Standards



  • Ensure every location delivers an exceptional, consistent patient experience aligned with brand expectations.
  • Review customer feedback, operational audits, and service metrics to address issues and drive improvement.


Cross-Functional Collaboration



  • Partner with HR, Marketing, Finance, and other shared services to support regional needs and operational goals.
  • Serve as a primary point of communication between corporate leadership and field teams.


Risk Management & Compliance



  • Ensure adherence to company policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements across all regional locations.
  • Conduct regular reviews to maintain operational integrity and mitigate potential risks.


Strategic Planning & Execution



  • Translate corporate priorities into actionable regional strategies and initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for expansion, process refinement, and operational innovation.


JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education, Certification and Experience Requirements



  • Education (i.e. 4-year college degree, license, certification)

    • Bachelor's degree preferred; MBA highly desired.


  • Experience (i.e. years of work experience related to the job)

    • 7-10+ years of multi-site leadership experience in healthcare or retail healthcare.




Knowledge / Technical Requirements



  • An active Au.D. or HIS license is required for this position. Candidates who do not currently possess the required licensure must initiate the licensure process upon hiring and maintain active status in accordance with all applicable regulatory and organization requirements.


Competencies, Skills & Abilities



  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&L.
  • Proven ability to drive sales growth, lead teams, and manage operational performance.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $135,000 -$175,000. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include: geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
