Requisition ID# 171678 Job Category: Internship / Rotation Job Level: Individual Contributor Business Unit: Energy Delivery Work Type: Hybrid Job Location: Auburn Department Overview Land Management includes a staff of approximately 300 land managers, surveyors, Registered Professional Foresters, land rights and acquisition specialists.Our goal is to ensure that PG&E's lands are well managed, and our property rights are protected.Land Management works closely with state and federal regulators to protect the unique landscape and environmental resources found on these properties.The department will acquire and comply with all environmental permits required to conduct activities on these properties.Land Management's work requires close integration with the land specialists, environmental scientists, Gas and Electric Operations, as well as with laws and regulatory regulations. We are also responsible for acquiring all necessary land rights for the company to safely operate and maintain its facilities. Position Summary The Land Operations NRM (Natural Resource Management) intern position will have exposure and the opportunity to support all of the teams within NRM, with a specific breakdown of tasks depending on the successful candidate's background. Candidates should expect to spend up to 70% of their time in the field, at times in remote locations. Field work is likely to include a significant amount of hiking. PG&E is providing the hourly rate range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual hourly rate paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.
