Pro-Active Engineering has an opening for a Scheduler. This position is responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining schedules to ensure efficient use of resources, timely completion of work, and alignment with business priorities. This role collaborates closely with operations, supply chain, and cross-functional teams to balance demand, capacity, and deadlines.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly schedules based on demand, capacity, and resource availability
  • Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure schedule adherence
  • Monitor schedule performance and adjust plans to address delays, constraints, or changes in priorities
  • Analyze capacity, labor, and material availability to optimize workflow and minimize downtime
  • Communicate schedule updates and changes to stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Identify bottlenecks and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and throughput
  • Maintain accurate planning data within ERP/MRP systems
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to planning and scheduling processes
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Physical Demands
The role requires regular sitting, hand and arm use, fine motor skills, and repetitive motions. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 45 lbs. Visual requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Required Education and Experience



  • Associate's degree or equivalent (minimum two years of college)
  • 2-5 years previous scheduling experience
  • ERP/MRP system experience
  • Experience in PCBA or electronics manufacturing preferred
  • APICS certification a plus

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, QRM, and Value Stream Mapping
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, advanced formulas)
