What will you do in this role?

• Provide asset management and distribution support to maintain, manage, track, and update all assets into the Government IT asset management system
• Provision end-user workstations using the authorized and standardized image, and follow and maintain a repeatable process that allows for multiple machines to be created simultaneously
• Provision end users' IT equipment, such as workstations and laptops, workstation and laptop peripherals, monitors, printers, mobile devices (including smart phones and personal digital assistants), thin clients, USB drives, VoIP phones and other IT equipment as needed
• Provide hardware troubleshooting and repair support to identify, assess, report, mitigate, and resolve physical and/or logical problems and issues with end user computing hardware
• Install, upgrade, troubleshoot issues, patch, deploy, and configure baseline images of approved agency operating systems so completed images integrate with all approved agency enterprise hardware and software
• Provide exceptional deskside customer support to users of differing backgrounds, skill sets and staffing level, from individual contributors to executives.
• Maintain accurate written and digital records of hardware shipped and received
• Work in a team environment
• Configure VoIP phones, Wi-Fi devices, laptops and peripherals
• Be able to work in a data center supporting team members with HW rack installations and running cables

What do you need to succeed in this role?

• Must possess an active public trust or higher clearance
• Must be willing to work onsite 5 days a week in Washington, DC.
• Be able to lift 50 pounds
• 2+ years of experience in a hardware depot technician role
• Experience in virus detection and removal
• Be familiar with deployment toolkits for imaging
• Technical knowledge of laptop and desktop hardware including peripherals
• Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience
• Technical knowledge of printers and scanners
• Bachelor's degree in technology or related field (preferred)
• A growth mindset
• A public trust or higher clearance.

In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the midpoint of the salary range for this role is $60,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
