About (EPMO)

The EPMO will serve as the critical link between executive vision, strategy execution, and the work of the enterprise. We provide Project Management excellence in governance, planning, executing, resourcing, prioritizing, and continuous learning. Our ultimate goal is to improve patients' lives by ensuring every project plays a role in enhancing healthcare outcomes and patient experiences.

Proposed Work Description

The Intern will support the Tolmar EPMO team by researching and benchmarking industry standards, as well as developing and providing training on suggested AI use cases for project management, ensuring these efforts align with new and emerging practices in the field. This will be accomplished by delivering the following:



  • Based on research and benchmarking, develop a high-level roadmap for project management use cases (roadmap + catalog of candidate use cases)
  • Recommend prioritization of top 3 industry trends of AI utilization within project management and tool landscape (EPMO/PPM AI-capable tools)
  • Develop training to implement AI uses cases (top 3) within project management (Training deck + job aids + delivery plan)
  • Establish and report on change management plan to implement AI usage within project management
  • Other duties as assigned



Knowledge, Skills & Abilities



  • Basic knowledge of AI & Data fundamentals, able to ensure AI outputs are reviewed, refined, and approved by accountable project roles
  • Basic knowledge of project management delivery models (PMI) including iterative and Agile/hybrid frameworks
  • Ability to translate business objectives into AI ready problem statements
  • Data and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of computerized accounting software, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and all Microsoft Office applications
  • Effective organization and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to maintain a regular and predictable work schedule
  • Change leadership and change management communication
  • Effective oral and written communication
  • Ability to communicate with co-workers, management, vendors, and others in a courteous and professional manner

Education & Experience



  • Enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Business, Communications, AI / IT, Project Management or closely related program.
  • Have achieved an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or higher.



Working Conditions



  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Work will be on-site in both Fort Collins and Windsor. Some work may be performed remotely. The intern must have access to a private, quiet working area during business hours (8 AM-5 PM Mountain Time).



Compensation and Benefits



  • Base rate is $19.00 per hour
