1. Summary of Position: (Brief description of overall responsibilities and function) Plan, manage and execute the electrical systems and/or avionics work scope, associated with STC and 337 Major Alterations on Leonardo aircraft. Closely coordinate with Leonardo Helicopter Engineering in Cascina Costa to establish requirements and to develop & release data in the Part 145 tools and infrastructure that support LHD product strategies. Maintain and develop systems engineering capabilities with respect to avi/electrical work to be performed in Engineering. Responsible for support of all electrical and avionics work scope at AWPC Part 145 facilities. This includes response and support of Part 145 maintenance activities, support of FAA Form 337 Alterations and Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) projects. Apply avi/electrical engineering expertise to develop optimum design solutions that satisfy the customer whilst retaining commercial viability and consistency with LHD design strategies. 2. - Qualifications for Position:
A. Education
B.S. in Aerospace/Electrical/Avionics Engineering or equivalent. |
B. Experience
10 years experience with 5 years in aviation, preferably with an Airframe OEM, preferably on rotorcraft A Masters in Structural Engineering and/or PhD can substitute for 5 of the 10 years. |
C. Competencies & Attributes
