We're looking for people who put their innovation to work to advance our success - and their own. Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions. WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS ROLE: Strategic Project & Portfolio Oversight
- Life Cycle Ownership: Lead projects through the entire lifecycle, from the initial "Sales-to-Operations" handoff through engineering, fabrication, shipping, and final site integration.
- Risk Mitigation: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential bottlenecks in design or supply chain, developing contingency plans to keep projects on track.
- KPI Tracking: Maintain accountability for project health metrics, including margin retention, and on-time delivery (OTD).
Technical Design & Engineering Integration
- Scope Validation: Critically review sales contracts against engineering capabilities to ensure the promised "Design Package" is technically viable and within budget.
- Interdisciplinary Liaison: Act as the translator between structural, electrical, and mechanical engineering teams to ensure all subsystems integrate seamlessly without interference.
- Design-to-Production Flow: Manage the release of drawings to the shop floor, ensuring that "Redlines" and field changes are documented and updated in the Master Design file.
Supply Chain & Critical Path Management
- Procurement Strategy: Partner with Purchasing to manage "Long Lead Time" items ensuring they arrive in sync with the production schedule.
- Vendor Performance: Monitor the quality and timing of external contractors and sub-vendors, holding them accountable to the project's technical specifications and deadlines.
Operational Excellence & Quality Control
- Shop Floor Partnership: Coordinate with shop supervisors to audit progress, resolve manufacturing hurdles in real-time, and ensure the final build matches the approved drawings.
- The "Zero-Punchlist" Goal: Facilitate thorough internal quality audits to identify and fix defects before the customer sees the product.
Financial Management & Change Control
- Margin Protection: Vigilantly monitor Scope Creep. When a customer requests a change, calculate the cost/schedule impact and negotiate Change Orders to protect the project's profitability.
- Financial Forecasting: Provide leadership with monthly Percent of Completion (POC) reports detailing projected costs versus actual spend.
- Post-Delivery Service: Manage the "Warranty Phase" by acting as the liaison, deploying field technicians if necessary, and closing the loop on customer satisfaction issues.
Stakeholder & Client Relations
- Primary Point of Contact: Serve as the single source of truth for the client, translating complex technical delays into clear, professional business updates.
YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction or Business Management or related field preferred.
