- Operates Automated Welding Machine
- Floats to operate all other machines in the facility with ability to flex daily or as needed to different machines based on business needs.
- Operates a forklift while at times operating as material handler.
- Positions production materials and tooling and maintains proper dimensions according to specifications.
- Operates various equipment, including controllers, and programs according to production documentation.
- Meets established performance standards to ensure production schedules are met.
- Follows all applicable safety procedures and reports unsafe conditions or potential safety hazards to team leader or appropriate resource.
- Ensures that products meet CADDY quality standards.
- Inspects work to ensure proper dimensional requirements are met
- Assists Maintenance and outside sources with trouble-shooting systems.
- Takes action and notifies appropriate resource when problems arise concerning equipment, operations, materials, etc.
- Participates actively as a team member through continuous improvement activities to meet customer needs.
- Maintains a clean, safe and organized work area.
- May be required to perform additional duties as assigned.
YOU HAVE:
- Knowledge of all operations of the assigned production process required
- Knowledge of safety policies and procedures, and ability to promote compliance with them.
- Fork truck licensed or ability to obtain one.
- Ability to lift, slide and shake heavy gauges of material.
- Ability to read and use measuring equipment (i.e. tape measure, caliper)
- Ability to identify and support continuous improvement efforts with the Operations Supervisor.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
- Ability to adapt to constantly evolving business circumstances and have the ability to thrive.
