GENERAL FUNCTION

The Director of EyeCare Operations is responsible for leading the strategic prioritization and executional implementation of EyeCare projects and initiatives, with a primary focus on Doctor exam systems and equipment.

The Director of Operations will also be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and value creation across the EyeCare project portfolio through existing technologies or process improvements. They will own the execution of project management processes that support the successful deployment of EyeCare projects. These processes include but are not limited to: project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Owner of Doctor equipment installation and support process across Luxottica retail North America locations.
  • Lead and deliver schedule of activities outlining project deployment life cycle and responsibilities.
  • Identify project risks; develop and evaluate alternative solutions to drive positive project outcomes.
  • Lead decision-making process to ensure all project deployments are effectively sequenced.
  • Gather and organize pertinent information for leader decision-making.
  • Function as lead point of contact for reporting project status.
  • Build and foster collaborative relationships with all shared service and brand functions to influence and sequence new initiatives and process impacts.
  • Participate in key meetings, to help align stakeholders and capture key follow-ups, including monitoring of corresponding action plans.
  • Confirm alignment of projects to the EyeCare strategy; communicate misalignment to leadership.
  • Develop and maintain an internal communication strategy to stakeholders and leadership for each initiative.
  • Conduct project postmortems and document findings and best practices; leverage continuous improvement principles to improve go-forward process.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree

10+ years project management experience or equivalent

Strong relationship building and collaboration skills

Strategic focus with experience in tactics

Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously

Ablity to see the big picture and prioritize projects with highest business impact

Strong oral and written communication skills

Critical thinking skills

Ability to influence/negotiate

Strong technial knowledge

Optical or healthcare industry knowledge
