DESCRIPTION

Under general supervision, the Non-Medical Case Manager (NMCM) provides client-centered, non-clinical case management services to people with HIV enrolled in the Ryan White Program. The NMCM supports clients by identifying and addressing non-medical barriers to care, coordinating supportive services, and promoting sustained engagement in HIV primary care. This role emphasizes collaboration, advocacy, and a strengths-based approach to support client stability, retention in care, and overall well-being. Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Possession of a bachelor's degree in social work from a program approved by the Council on Social Work Education, and one year of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience; and knowledges and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position.

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience working in case management, care coordination, or social services

  • Experience working with people living with HIV and/or underserved populations

  • Familiarity with community resources and social service systems

  • Bilingual or multilingual skills relevant to the patient population

  • Training or experience in trauma-informed care, harm reduction, or health equity

SPECIAL CONDITIONS

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $60,072 - $79,073 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $28.77 - $37.87

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
