Job Description: Airbus Americas, Inc is looking for a Lean and Continuous Improvement Expert to join our team based in Mobile, AL. As a Lean and Continuous Improvement Expert, you will be an internal reference to drive and enable the achievement of business excellence by the application of the business improvement fundamentals, based on lean and right first time lean principles, and associated methods and approaches such as Lean / Operating systems, Problem Solving and Quality Standards. You will develop and contribute to the evolution and maintenance of the improvement referential, and leads the transfer and coaching of improvement concepts, principles, tools & techniques, and the development of autonomy/competency in the business. Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. The facility, which strengthens the U.S. aerospace industry, is part of Airbus' strategy to enhance its global competitiveness by meeting the growing needs of its customers in the United States and beyond. Your Challenges: Position Summary: The Lean Improvement Expert (Kaizen coordinator) contributes directly to the Airbus Competitiveness strategy by defining and deploying improvement initiatives within the Autonomous Production Team & Business Unit. The Lean Improvement Expert must have a deep knowledge of lean principles and a proven shop-floor experience in Manufacturing, you will identify optimization or improvement potential impacting the Recurring Costs (RC) with piloted, Your Challenges: Accountable for the identification of pain points and improvement initiatives maturity of the Business unit level:10%
Support RC improvement Strategy and Governance: 10 %
Deployment RC strategy & initiatives: 70 %
Support of Efficiency Assessment and Improvement: 10 %
