- Position is responsible for overall supervision and coordination of the assigned area to produce high quality products in compliance with schedules. Plans, organizes, and accomplishes the daily, weekly, monthly and annual goals for assigned area with regard to safety, quality, productivity, on time delivery and cost performance. Monitors quantitative performance metrics and takes corrective actions as required to attain goals established by Management. Creates an environment where employees are motivated and rewarded for achieving high levels of performance. Applies appropriate structured problem solving methods and techniques to improve performance. Position reports to the Front End Engineering Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervises through effective selection, training and performance evaluation of members and through effective delegation and follow up tasks. Partners with HR to lead the hiring process for new production personnel.
- Responsible to lead shift personnel in daily operations to meet production requirements. Schedules and assigns work within the unit to regulate workflow and meet required schedules while ensuring focus is on providing quality and on-time deliveries.
- Identifies problems in a product, equipment, quality, safety and/or employee relations. Resolve or escalate issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborates with manager to establish a level work load. Responsible for meeting the daily and weekly production schedule. Attends AM production meeting and provides backlog updates.
- Accomplish all job related paperwork in the most accurate, timely and ethical manner.
- Maintains a high degree of quality in all work performed. Maintains a clean and professional appearance of all manufacturing areas.
- Develop and mentor personnel by providing coaching, guidance and training.
- Create a work environment where employee engagement and participation in improvement is expected and encouraged.
- Enforces departmental policies and ensures procedures are always being followed.
- Is required to advance in technology by making it possible to constantly raise our level of quality.
- Ensures all necessary documents, files and employees records and information are protected and kept confidential.
- Maintains a high level of professionalism at all times.
- Communicates regularly to supervisors and managers, suggests and composes procedural changes and process improvements, maintains a clean, safe work environment, and communicates to supervisor's safety hazards and issues.
- Follows all company Safety and ESD Program requirements.

- Understanding of printed circuit board manufacturing. Ability to interpret essential build documentation including data, blueprints, customer and industry specs.
- Good English and mathematical skills. Must have strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Good software skills with working knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Computer hardware skills are a plus, as is knowledge of Linux OS.
- Ability to work 10 hours a day, 5 days a week and flexible to work weekends as needed.
Education:
- Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 2+ years' technical related experience or equivalent in a manufacturing or design environment.
- Previous experience in a Lead or Supervisory role.

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
