FOR THE RIGHT PERSON THIS REGIONAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE COULD BE LOCATED ANYWHERE IN THE WESTERN UNITED STATES: Responsible for working collaboratively with assigned dealers to develop and grow municipal sales accounts across the designated region. Partner closely with each dealer to ensure market growth, strengthen relationships with municipal agencies, and achieve company sales objectives in alignment with the business plan. Responsibilities: Build strong, collaborative partnerships with dealers in the designated area to jointly drive municipal account growth. Actively support, coach, and enable dealers in developing strategies, bid proposals, and presentations that increase municipal vehicle sales. Work with dealers to develop market intelligence-understanding local municipal buying cycles, funding sources, and competitive dynamics. Collaborate with dealers to generate new municipal vehicle sales as territory and economic conditions allow. Provide ongoing reporting on municipal market conditions and identify dealer driven opportunities and shortfalls. Work closely with internal engineering, product, and operations teams to ensure product offerings align with municipal needs Execute sales and territory strategies in partnership with dealers, aligned with the direction of the VP of Sales. Ensure dealer sales volume and company margin objectives are met through joint planning, accountability, and pipeline development. Assist in coordinating trade show participation and dealer conferences. Advise the VP of Sales and General Manager on market issues affecting the company. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements (education, experience, travel, physical, work environment): B.S. Degree in Business, Marketing or related field or 3 years of experience in municipal sales Minimum 3 years' experience developing and executing sales/marketing programs based upon developed market intelligence. Proven background of meeting business plan sales volume and margin objectives. Demonstrated ability to influence, coach, and achieve results through independent dealer partners. Excellent communication, time management, team work and negation skills This position offers a flexible work location. We are open to the following: Remote Work from anywhere in CA. If you are located near one of our facilities and would like to work in an office we are open to that situation. The pay scale for newly hired employees in this position at this location in California is between $70,304 - $117,200. This is based on meeting all of the requirements of the role. The base pay offered for the role may vary depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We are proud to offer competitive benefits in addition to competitive pay.
