The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. Position Summary The Technician B will manage animal colonies; they will be responsible for animals breeding and genotyping. They will also assist with tissue culture work and perform experiments of characterization of mitochondrial function and pathology, such as cell fractionation, western blot to measure mitochondrial proteins, qPCR to measure mtDNA copy number, and spectrophotometric measurement of mitochondrial respiratory chain activities, under supervision.
