Job Summary


The Procurement Contract Specialist is a collaborative and results-oriented professional responsible for supporting sourcing and contract management activities across a range of indirect categories, including commercial, IT, corporate services, and science and technology. This role works within a global procurement function and partners closely with category managers to execute supplier contracts through a contract lifecycle management (CLM) system. The position requires strong communication, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring compliance with procurement policies and organizational objectives.

Job Responsibilities




  • Collaborate with procurement and cross-functional teams to support contract and category management activities through the CLM system.



  • Assist in documenting and maintaining standardized processes for back-office procurement and contract management support.



  • Partner with legal and procurement teams to ensure proper application of contracting guidelines across various contract scenarios.



  • Review and support negotiation of Statements of Work (SOWs).



  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers to support procurement initiatives.



  • Maintain contract documentation and associated metadata within the CLM system.



  • Support corporate objectives and change initiatives aligned with procurement strategy and organizational growth.



  • Prioritize and manage workload based on business needs and procurement goals.



  • Monitor procurement processes and end-user compliance with established policies.




Job Requirements




  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred.



  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or contract management.



  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in indirect procurement.



  • Experience using a contract lifecycle management (CLM) system; experience with IntelAgree or similar tools preferred.



  • Project management experience in a corporate or professional services environment preferred.



  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.



  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage internal stakeholders and suppliers.



  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to think analytically and creatively.



  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.



  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.




Work Experience




  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, or contract management functions.



  • Experience supporting indirect procurement categories in a corporate environment preferred.
