Summary Job Description: Baptist Health is looking for an Associate Vice President, Pharmacy Operations to join our team in the Louisville, KY area! This position will have weekly presence at our Central Pharmacy location in LaGrange, KY. The Associate Vice President (AVP), Pharmacy Operations of provides expert leadership in the planning, coordination, and direction of operational pharmacy services for the enterprise. This includes, but is not limited to providing safe, effective and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical care. The AVP, Pharmacy Operations is responsible for the leadership and direction of the operational functions associated with pharmacy services, including central pharmacy operations, ambulatory/infusion operations, oversight of cleanrooms, and pharmacy informatics. The AVP, Pharmacy Operations ensures these key operational areas with optimizing staffing, workflow and drug utilization. The AVP, Pharmacy Operations works closely with the Chief Pharmacy Officer on capital and operating budgets, including operational oversight of approximately FTEs and annual pharmaceutical budget.
