ABOUT THE ROLE

You're starting your product design career, and you're ready to ship real products. As a Product Designer I at Fox One, you will work closely with senior designers and cross-functional teams to shape thoughtful, high-quality user experiences across our strategic products, with a focus on content discovery and personalization.

This role is centered on rapid skill development, constant iteration, and learning to contribute to the end-to-end design process for features, from research to execution. You will be actively supported and mentored to elevate your design quality through collaboration and craft.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strong skills in Figma for UI, components, and prototyping.

  • Genuine curiosity about creative tools, AI, and interaction design.

  • Clear communication and openness to feedback from senior team members and stakeholders.

  • Strong self-directed instincts and the ability to manage your momentum while executing assigned design decisions.

  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to support senior designers in ensuring Fox One maintains a forward-thinking, competitive position.

  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a refined eye for visual craft, including composition, typography, and layout.

  • Apply interaction design and prototyping fluency to articulate and refine nuanced design decisions under guidance.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Experience: 0-2 years of professional experience in Product Design, with experience contributing to the shipping of meaningful features or products (e.g., internships, freelance, or first full-time role). Experience designing for OTT platforms or streaming experiences is a plus.

  • Portfolio: A strong, well-organized portfolio demonstrating thoughtful problem solving, craft, and the ability to design complex, user-centered experiences. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.

  • AI & Innovation: Exposure to designing AI-informed or personalized experiences is a plus, but not required. Curiosity about emerging technologies and their application to user experience is valued.

  • Launch & Iteration: Experience contributing to the launch of app features and improving them through data-informed iteration and optimization.

  • Systems Thinking: Experience working within and contributing to design systems to drive consistency and scalability across products.

  • Technical Fluency: Comfortable collaborating with engineering partners and navigating technical constraints. Proficient in modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma.

  • Craft & Growth Mindset: Actively explore new tools, workflows, and emerging technologies to continuously elevate your craft. Bring thoughtful recommendations that improve how we design, prototype, and collaborate.

  • Impact: A track record of shipping user-centered work that contributes to measurable product and business outcomes.

  • Collaboration & Location: Collaboration is key at Fox One. Our hybrid model provides flexibility to work from home or the office while staying closely connected to your team. This role is based in the United States and requires availability to work from the Los Angeles or New York office.

  • Regular on-site attendance at least three days per week is an essential function of this position. Selected candidates must be able to reliably meet this requirement.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $83,000.00-117,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
