ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  1. Efficiently processes all incoming telephone calls, reservations, credit card charges, and related questions regarding Bally's and the surrounding area.
  2. Performs all data entry and administrative functions to ensure that reservations, changes, wakeup calls, and cancellations are handled correctly and timely.
  3. Maintains a professional attitude following the Thoughtful Service model and uses proper terminology when handling calls as outlined by departmental procedures.
  4. Performs telemarketing and/or up selling/cross selling duties as required in order to maximize room, show, and restaurant utilization. Follows prescribed sales techniques in order to maximize hotel and other revenue.
  5. Maintains awareness of all marketing promotions, special events, general facility information and hotel rates.
  6. Uses paging system and operates TDD as required.
  7. Meets quantity standards for call volume.
  8. Regular attendance required.
  9. Other assigned duties.



SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

None.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least 18 years of age. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations. Regular attendance required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE



  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One to three months of related experience and/or training.
  • Must be able to work with the public and present a clean, courteous image.



CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

None.

LANGUAGE SKILLS



  • Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
  • Ability read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondences, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondences.



MATHEMATICAL SKILLS



  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.



COMPUTER SKILLS



  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Experience with LMS, Ticket Master and TDD system preferred.
