Pay rate : $20.00 /hr. on w2 without benefits

Duration: 4+ Months

Work hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Description:

  • Skills in organization, assessment, and research
  • Bilingual fluency/high proficiency


Role & Responsibilities:

  • Equipment to be used by the temporary staffing professional(s): Equipment to be issued by the State: Desktop computer, laptop computer, cell phone
  • Computer software to be used: Microsoft Office
  • Interview Mode: Phone or Virtual (Teams or Zoom)
  • Knowledge, skills, education, and/or experience:
  • Mandatory skills/certification(s) Requirement: Ability to effectively communicate with the public in person, by phone, and written correspondence; travel to community outreach events statewide to actively participate, display and state distribute materials; skills in organization, assessment, and research.
  • Desired skills: Bilingual preferred, but NOT required.
  • Job Duties Performs a variety of activities to support community outreach and engagement, and constituent affairs for the NJ State Client (Client) such as, but not limited to: serving as a representative at community outreach events statewide, assisting the outreach team with event preparation, assist Client Constituent Affairs leadership and staff with assigned projects and tasks in day-to-day operations.
  • Support community outreach and engagement, and constituent affairs for the NJ State Client (Client).
  • Serve as a representative at community outreach events statewide.
  • Assist the outreach team with event preparation.
  • Assist Client Constituent Affairs leadership and staff with assigned projects and tasks in day-to-day operations.
  • Acts as the representative by answering casework correspondence, meeting with constituents, verbal communications with constituents, and serving as a liaison with federal, district, and local agencies.
  • Determine appropriate course of action and address issue with relevant agencies.
  • Follow up with relevant agencies to track progress and ensure resolution.
  • Log all requests into the database and maintain up-to-date files on all cases.
  • Continually monitor active cases and act as liaison with constituents to ensure that their cases are handled in a responsive manner.
  • Serve as a representative at community events and meetings. Prepare reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Support community outreach and engagement, and constituent affairs for the NJ State Client (Client).
