About the team The Enterprise Data & AI (EDAI) team drives the modernization and intelligence of FIS's global data ecosystem, enabling the company to securely ingest, process, govern, and activate data at scale. The team builds and operates the platforms that power advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI-driven insights, partnering closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, reliable, and compliant data solutions. With a focus on automation, standardization, and platform excellence, EDAI ensures that FIS teams across the enterprise can access trusted data and leverage cutting-edge AI capabilities to accelerate innovation and achieve measurable business outcomes. What you will be doing We are seeking a Data Engineering Manager to drive enterprise data solutions within the EDAI team. In this role, you will combine technical expertise in cloud data engineering with leadership acumen to deliver high-quality, scalable data pipelines. You will oversee end-to-end data ingestion (ELT) using Fivetran, ensure efficient processing on Azure Databricks, and coordinate with downstream analytics teams (leveraging Snowflake and BI tools) to enable data-driven decision making. The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on experience with all Fivetran implementation types and a broad knowledge of database and source technologies, coupled with strong skills in Microsoft Azure and big data processing frameworks.
