This position is responsible for, but not limited to, contacting charged-off accounts to attempt recovery, recommend accounts to Collections Management for placement with the external collections vendor, contact potential charge-off accounts to obtain collection in order to prevent charge-off, work the Gallium web-based accounts report, work and resolve assigned client disputes, prepare various charge-off and recovery management reports, train new collectors on collections policies/procedures and system use, and if time permits performs the duties of a Collector.
