• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 2+ years of press brake operation experience required
• Previous leadership or team lead experience preferred
• Vocational training or certification in metal fabrication is a plus
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Knowledge of metal fabrication processes and materials
• Strong experience operating CNC press brakes (setup and programming preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and support press brake operators to meet production and quality targets
• Assign daily tasks, monitor workflow, and act as the point of contact between production staff and leadership
• Set up and operate CNC press brakes, including selecting tooling and adjusting machine controls
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine measurements and bending sequences
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, gauges, and measuring tools to ensure specifications are met
• Identify and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective actions as needed
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on equipment or escalate repairs when necessary
• Enforce safety protocols, ensure proper PPE usage, and maintain a clean, organized workspace
• Prepare and inspect raw materials and coordinate material flow to minimize downtime
• Maintain accurate production records and reports, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
