What You'll Need

• High school diploma or GED is required; an associate degree or applicable certification preferred
• Vocational school or junior technical college training in applicable technical areas
• Minimum of 5 years related work experience
• Ability to climb in overhead structures, to work beneath machines, and in close quarters, performing analysis and repair work
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Strong understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems common to industrial machines
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions

Your Workday in Action

• Perform preventative maintenance on all manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to plastic injection molding machines, auxiliary equipment (i. e., chillers, dryers, grinders), and facility infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on production equipment promptly to minimize downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and address potential problems before they escalate.
• Assist with the installation of new equipment and the relocation of existing machinery.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and reduce operational costs.
• Collaborate with production personnel to identify and address equipment issues and implement solutions.
• Supports manufacturing teams with advanced technical knowledge and solutions.
