This role is ideal for an experienced engineer with strong expertise in FDA quality systems, ISO 13485 compliance, and mechanical design using SolidWorks. Key Responsibilities Lead design control activities, including requirements development, risk documentation (DFMEA), and validation Develop and validate test methods and create supporting documentation (protocols, reports, spec maps) Design fixtures and tooling using SolidWorks to support testing and product development Support product transfers and manufacturing changes between suppliers Ensure product quality, safety, and regulatory compliance across all projects Apply change management processes (DCA, SCIA, SCAR, PLCP) Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting for design and process issues Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, and suppliers Manage multiple projects using strong project management and problem-solving skills Qualifications Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Engineering or related field 5+ years of experience in design controls and regulated environments (FDA, ISO 13485) Proven experience in test method development, verification, and validation Proficiency in SolidWorks and Minitab Strong knowledge of quality systems, risk management, and compliance Excellent technical writing and communication skills Preferred Skills Mechanical design experience and new product development (NPD) background Experience with SAP, Windchill, or Human Factors/Usability Demonstrated success leading product or process improvement projects This is a high-impact opportunity to contribute to innovative medical device development in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
