Could you be the full-time onsite Configuration Management professional in West Mifflin, PA, US we're looking for?

Your future role

"Take on a new challenge and apply your configuration management and change process expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates.
You'll ensure the configuration and documentation flows for APM vehicle platforms are accurate, compliant, and streamlined, making a significant impact on the lifecycle management of our products. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Project Management, Manufacturing, Quality, and Purchasing), facilitate change boards and configuration baselines, and much more."

We'll look to you for:




  • Identifying and verifying items to be put under configuration control (Configuration Items and/or Target Items).,



  • Creating and maintaining the Configuration Item List and/or Target Item List for Configuration Baselines.,



  • Preparing and publishing Configuration Baselines and/or Target Configuration Releases as planned.,



  • Ensuring configuration data is recorded, documented, and monitored for compliance.,



  • Investigating and managing deviations from Configuration Baseline Types and Target Configurations.,



  • Ensuring suppliers adhere to configuration rules and standards.,



  • Preparing and communicating Configuration Status Accounting Reports.,



  • Facilitating electrical event management and integrating it into the Change Management Process.,



  • Coordinating and aligning all project stakeholders regarding changes.

  • Degree in engineering, project management, or another related field (equivalent experience may substitute for the degree). ,



  • Experience or understanding of configuration management and change processes. ,



  • Knowledge of Configuration and Change Management principles and tools. ,



  • Familiarity with Business Process Management, Project Management, Risk Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, and/or Industrialization. ,



  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. ,



  • Ability to ensure compliance with established configuration and change management rules and standards. ,



  • Analytical mindset to identify and resolve inconsistencies or deviations in configuration data. ,



  • Organizational skills to manage multiple APM Product Platform projects and maintain accurate documentation. ,



  • Adaptability to work in a product/project organization within the context of international contracts. ,



  • Collaborative approach to network with various teams, including Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and Project teams.
