About the School of Psychology at Georgia Tech

The School of Psychology is dedicated to advancing psychological science through cutting-edge research, innovative education, and impactful community engagement. Our faculty and student researchers strive to promote a scientific understanding of the human brain, cognition, mind, environment, and behavior. The School of Psychology (psychology.gatech.edu/) at the Georgia Institute of Technology (www.gatech.edu/) in Atlanta Georgia is seeking a Research Scientist II. Led by Dr. Robert Wilson, Associate Professor, the position involves leading a research project on explore-exploit decision making and how this changes in aging and with cognitive decline.

Designing and running behavioral experiments, computational modeling of behavioral data, writing papers, supervising students, and preparing data sets for sharing.

Research Scientist II

• A Master's degree and three (3) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of that degree,
• A Master's degree and five (5) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of a Bachelor's degree, or
• A Doctoral degree.

PhD in Psychology or related field.

• The ability to mentor and assist students interested in pursuing graduate education
• The ability to design and teach curricula that are responsive to all students
• The ability to adopt teaching strategies that support the learning and success of all students
