Requisition ID# 171221 Job Category: Environmental Management / Safety Job Level: Individual Contributor Business Unit: Energy Delivery Work Type: Onsite Job Location: Lodi Department Overview TheElectric Transmission (ET) Departmentis responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient construction, maintenance, and upgrade of PG&E's highvoltage transmission system. ET supports critical infrastructure that delivers power across regions and ensures compliance with regulatory, environmental, and safety requirements. The department works collaboratively with Engineering, Project & Program Management, Supply Chain, Land & Environmental, Safety, and external contractors to deliver complex transmission projects from planning through closeout. Position Summary Works to detect, prevent and mitigate safety risks. Provides subject matter expertise on field observations and provides consultation and guidance on corrective action development. Collaborates with and supports line of businesses on safety issues. Communicates safety trends and recommends corrective actions. Serves as a resource for the development, implementation, and sustainability of the various companywide safety initiatives. Travel up to 75% of the time within Fresno, Midway (all counties within these areas) Disclosure: PG&E is providing the salary range that can reasonably be expected for this position at the time of the job posting. This salary range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. The decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. This job is also eligible to participate inPG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs.
