Sr HRIS Analyst-Analytics & Integrations

Brief Description:

The Senior HRIS Developer serves as a technical expert responsible for architecting and delivering advanced analytics, enterprise integrations, and complex reporting solutions across the Oracle HCM platform. This role leverages expertise in Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI), HCM Extracts, OTBI/BIP, and integration frameworks to support strategic HR initiatives, operational excellence, and HR technology optimization.

The position partners closely with HR leadership, technical teams and cross-functional stakeholders to design scalable data solutions, improve data quality, and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role also provides senior-level application support, troubleshooting, and technical guidance to ensure reliable and efficient HR reporting and integration capabilities.

This role reports to the Senior HRIS Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) Architecture & Development

  • Conduct business requirements sessions and work with leadership for guidance on information strategy, vision, and priorities
  • Lead the design and development of enterpriselevel Fusion Data Intelligence datasets, data pipelines, metrics, and semantic models.
  • Architect advanced dashboards and analytics assets for workforce planning, operational insights, compliance, and strategic HR decision-making.
  • Establish FDI development standards, data modeling approaches, and analytics best practices for the HRIS team.

Integrations & HCM Extracts

  • Design, optimize, and maintain complex HCM Extracts supporting vendor feeds, payroll interfaces, benefits carriers, timekeeping systems, and custom downstream applications.
  • Collaborate with integration architects using OIC, REST/SOAP APIs, and secure file transfer methods to build endtoend data flows.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve highcomplexity integration issues and lead root-cause analyses for data, logic, and mapping discrepancies.
  • Define extract and integration governance, naming conventions, and reusable frameworks.

Advanced Reporting & Business Intelligence

  • Build optimized OTBI analytics and BI Publisher reports that support recurring operational, financial, and compliance requirements.
  • Review and refine reporting logic created by junior and intermediate team members.
  • Create report inventories, enforce documentation standards, and help drive selfservice reporting adoption across HR.

Data Quality, Governance & Strategy

  • Lead data quality efforts across HR modules by designing validation routines, reconciliation frameworks, and proactive data-monitoring dashboards.
  • Partner with HR operations, Payroll, other HR COE teams to understand business processes and how they drive data transformation.
  • Participate in and help lead data governance councils, working to improve the consistency and reliability of HR data.

HRIS Technical Leadership & Support

  • Serve as a senior technical SME for HRIS, guiding team members on best practices for FDI, Extracts, OTBI/BIP, and integrations.
  • Lead impact analysis and test planning for Oracle quarterly releases, ensuring changes to data structures and APIs are properly accounted for.
  • Partners with HR leadership, technical teams, and crossfunctional stakeholders to drive scalable solutions, improve data quality, and enhance the organization's overall analytics and integration capabilities
  • Support escalations from Tier 2/3 and advise on complex HR technology issues.
  • Mentor junior and intermediate developers and contribute to HRIS team skill growth.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Produce comprehensive technical documentation for FDI assets, extract designs, integrations, and data flows.
  • Ensure all analytics and integrations comply with audit, SOX, and data privacy standards.
  • Maintain version control, logic explanations, and test results for all technical deliverables.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information appropriately.
  • Advanced experience developing Oracle HCM analytics and reporting solutions using OTBI, BI Publisher, and Oracle BI technologies.
  • Experience designing and supporting enterprise integrations, data extracts, and HR data pipelines.
  • Working knowledge of business process flows used to support a complex Data warehouse, and experience in developing and executing Data Extraction and Dashboards.
  • Strong understanding of HR and payroll reporting requirements and HR data structures.
  • Experience working within structured software development life cycle methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Strong stakeholder partnership and customer-service mindset.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in technical or scientific discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • 6+ years of systems, analytics, reporting experience.
  • 4+ years of experience working within Oracle HCM and Oracle FDI.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle HCM and Workforce Analytics experience
  • Prior HRIS system / data warehousing system experience
  • Experience with OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud) and API based integrations
  • Prior involvement in large-scale HCM implementations or global HR transformations
  • Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) or enterprise BI platforms

Additional Details:

Work is primarily in a climate controlled / office environment with minimal safety / health hazard potential. The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, or walk with occasional lifting (overhead, waist level) from floor, bending and frequent near vision use for reading and use of computer, telephone, and other office equipment. May include travel to other Company offices and employee will be expected to properly use designated personal protective equipment (PPE) as may be required.
