Summary
This position has management responsibility for specific roles within a clinical study assigned to support the day-to-day operational project management of assigned trial(s). Does this position require Patient Care? No
Essential Functions Overall responsibility for operational and budgetary management of multi-site clinical trials. -Assists PI and Director, Clinical Trial Operations in development of protocol, informed consent, CRF's and operations manuals.
-Responsible for submitting all deliverable reports for a trial to sponsor and appropriate regulatory agencies.
-Oversees submission of protocol to IRB and ensures timely responses to IRB comments.
-Supervises research assistants and coordinators assigned to study.
-Coordinate and respond to audits by study sponsors.

Education
Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required or Master's Degree Related Field of Study preferred

Licenses and Credentials

Experience
Directly related experience in clinical research 3-5 years required and Prior Supervisory Experience 2-3 years preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Capability of prioritizing multiple competing tasks and seek supervisory or administrative assistance when appropriate.
- Experience with Data Management systems and software Packages.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to supervise others.
- Ability to work independently and display initiative to introduce innovations to research study.
- Ability to identify problems and develop solutions.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and set deadlines.
