Company: NRI Staffing Resources Location: Annandale, VA Salary: $65,000 annually Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire Position Overview NRI Staffing Resources is seeking an experienced Lead Travel Agent with strong Sabre GDS expertise to join a busy and growing Business Travel Agency in Annandale, VA. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering a competitive salary of $65,000 at $32.00 per hour client has option to offer direct placement after 600 hours, and the chance to work with a dynamic team in a corporate travel environment. This is an ONSITE position with no remote work options. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned travel professional with heavy Sabre experience who can handle inbound and outbound calls and email traffic, manage complex itineraries, and provide exceptional service to corporate clients. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a busy agency setting. Key Responsibilities Manage and book complex domestic travel arrangements for corporate clients using Sabre GDS for Air Travel, Hotels and Car Services Handle inbound and outbound calls and emails in a fast-paced business travel environment Provide leadership and guidance to travel consultants and assist with workflow coordination Issue, exchange, and reissue airline tickets and manage itinerary changes Ensure compliance with corporate travel policies and client preferences Deliver exceptional customer service and problem resolution for travel disruptions Maintain accurate client profiles and booking records Communicate effectively with airlines, hotels, car rental companies, and other travel vendors Qualifications 5+ years of travel agency experience, preferably in corporate/business travel Heavy Sabre GDS experience required Experience managing call and email volume Strong knowledge of airline fares, ticketing, exchanges, and domestic travel regulations Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-pressure environment Leadership or team lead experience preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Why This Opportunity?
