Maintenance Tech (Electrical Experience)

We are seeking an experienced Utility Maintenance Technician with extensive electrical expertise to support a property management client in Washington, DC. This role is essential to ensuring the safety, functionality, and overall appearance of the property's exterior and common areas while providing excellent service to residents and management. The ideal candidate brings at least five years of hands-on maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting abilities, and the capability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, safe, and organized property grounds
• Perform landscaping tasks including trimming, planting, and watering
• Maintain exterior lighting systems and hose bibs
• Remove leaves, debris, and snow from walkways
• Manage trash, curbside debris, and pet station upkeep
• Perform general exterior repairs and upkeep
• Maintain tools, landscaping equipment, and service vehicle
• Restock and service pet waste stations
• Troubleshoot and repair exterior lighting and electrical components
• Replace light fixtures and bulbs
• Perform minor plumbing repairs
• Assist with general maintenance projects and installations
• Respond to resident requests and concerns professionally and efficiently
• Maintain positive relationships with residents, vendors, and management
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and property staff
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks
• Maintain outdoor fixtures, pet stations, and common area features
• Identify and address potential maintenance issues before escalation
