Job Description Pay Rate: $19.35 per hour (Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am) ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Utilizing knobs/levers on automated equipment (i.e., forward feeding, tilting and sliding). Frees any cages that get stuck and notifies the supervisor of any problems. Tie/untie cages from trailer. Operate forklift in a safe manner. Ability to use quick safe judgement (Safety First). Ability to identify damaged cages and segregate them as needed to prevent issues in the process. REQUIREMENTS: Must have basic mechanical aptitude to adjust and/or fix stuck cages (requiring pushing and pulling up to 200lbs. Able to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in hot, dusty and wet environment. Must be able to sit/stand, walk for 8-10+ hours. Repetitive foot and motions, bending and forceful pulling motion may be required. Must possess a license to drive a forklift, or ability to pass forklift training. Lock out tag out training is required.
